Chapter 11WARNING: only for people aged 13 and above. “Ah, the first day of school’s over.” I sighed as I crawled up my bed. I reached or my remote, turning on some classical music on the stereo. I seriously need to wind myself down after such an eventful day. Then, I went into the bathroom to have a long, warm shower. Flinging my bra into the laundry basket, I stepped into the bathtub half-filled with water. I splashed the warm water onto my aching shoulders and thighs. “Hmm…” I sighed in relief. Then, I pulled my thighs towards my chest and sprinkled water over my knees. After soaking for ten minutes, I went into the shower. “Oh my, this is great!” I turned the tap at full blast and the water massaged my back. It seeped through my hair, trickled down my cheeks. But I didn’t care. Instead I started singing. “If your play was to push me away, you know that day my heart you’ll break it…” My favorite song. My voice sounded like a pop star as I pranced gracefully around the bathroom. After wiping myself dry, I held the towel tightly around mu chest as I searched my wardrobe for something to wear. In the end, I wriggled into a tight-fitting dark blue tube and black shorts.
Draping my blue towel over my shoulders, I walked towards the stairs to get some snacks from the kitchen. As I passed by Rosalie’s room, I could hear chuckling and giggling. Out of curiosity, I pushed open the door slightly. “David, I love this vodka.” I heard her mutter. It was impossible. She even refuses to touch red wine. And now, vodka? Rosalie was leaning on her right hip with her head propped up by her elbow. Her left arm was stroking the light blue satin nightdress she was wearing. I’d never expected her to have such sexy lingerie. “Another glass?” David offered and I could hear the tinkling of ice cubes as she gulped it down. “It’s burning!” she started yelping and reached for a bottle of coke. I choked a smile. “She doesn’t even know how to drink” I mumbled. When she turned her body slightly, she caught a glance of me at the door and dropped the bottle. “I’m so going to tell Mom. You’d better watch out.” I threatened, shaking my index finger at her. “Like you’ve never made out before!” she rebuked. “Sucker!” I hissed as I marched down the stairs. “She spoilt my mood.” I heard Rosalie whine.
After raiding the kitchen, I only managed to find a bar of chocolate and some orange juice. “Someone’s got to restock this place.” I muttered under my breath. As I dragged my feet across the corridor, I could hear the mumbling from Rosalie’s room. I tried to walk away but my curiosity got the better of me. I peeked into the room and gasped. Rosalie ignored the straps that slipped onto her shoulders as she inched her way towards David. “Hmm… You smell so sweet today.” “Only today?” Rosalie’s voice was raised by an octave. “No dear, especially sweet today.” David wrapped his arms around Rosalie’s waist and out his upper half of his body on her. Rosalie placed her hand at the back of David’s head and their lips met each other. Then, Rosalie rested her other hand onto David’s waist. “Darling…” David whined. “Don’t talk.” Rosalie crushed his lips. I couldn’t bear to see it anymore. I shifted my eyes and ran towards my room, slamming the door hard.
